This is my first blog ever and I am happy I finally got to it. I am usually active on community chit chats but just never got around to doing it.
My topic today is about "To Be or Not to Be". Many of us had dreams when we were young about what we wanted to be and how we will run the world. However as years go by most of us have not realised their dreams and only few of us have. Most of us try to find answers in the form of When,How, What. But I believe the key to a good story is not in the how, what or when but in the "WHY" as it will lead to the rest.
I believe the answer to this question is that they remained "Kids". All those successful people we see in our modern world have a big kid in the heart and that kid is fearless.
I have always wanted to articulate my observation and I use my self as an example I speak 5 different languages two of them I learnet in my late 20's and I found that I have the ability to pick similarities between languages and actually understand a script of a language that I have not learnt in my whole life.
A Friend of mine challenged me on it when I was in KL recently and I managed to translate 70 percent of an ad written in Malay. Why because I actually don't have the mind blocks or the fear of making a mistake but I have an eagerness to understand what is in front of me. Now if it was written in Japanese there is no way I could do it, however most my favourite Beading magazines and books are in fact written in Japanese.
The first beading book I read or rather looked at was Japanese and it was my open door to the world of Beading and Swarovski that was Sept 1996 and I was in Taiwan at the time.
Couple of days back I found an interesting clip on you tube and I am going to share it for all of you to see what I mean. Just do me a favour after you finish watching it tell me if it has inspired you and in what way
thanks.
