Christmas Baby

Christmas is usually a great occasion for the family to be together and this Christmas we had an interesting guest who arrived a bit earlier than what was expected, my niece Nada.
What a Xmas gift right :). Anew life was born and a new addition to the family girls and potential designer lol.
Couple of more days and a New Year will start. 2011 was a great year however I has been tough for me over the past couple of day but I will not let that deter me from having a great 2012.
On that note I say bye for now.

Happ New Year

2012 Comes with great news and adventures. Jan 2012 I go back to my beloved KL to run workshops from the 10th till the 21st of Jan. Its great to run workshops overseas cause jewellery like all else is influenced by culture and even though the techniques are the same the end result is totally different.
Also new year I am trying a new medium to go with my beloved Swarovski crystals and will publish my work soon and techniques and links to how to use that medium.
My new year resolution list is long but I hope I will get through it all.
WHAT IS YOUR NEW YEAR RESOLUTION?

Two more weeks to Christmas

Yesterday I missed working on my blog cause I went beads and findings shopping. I have had a lot of orders lately and trying to keep up. However there is also Christmas shopping for my friends and family. I have to admit I do smart shopping the whole year and I make a list as well which makes my life easier. Today I woke up with a different thought 2011 is nearly over another year has passed, what do I want for next year and my mind went spinning cause for the first time since I was a kid I want too many things. Usually I am very realistic/modest with what I want but this year I want a lot. The question is am I unrealistic in my dreams or wants for this coming 2012 especially 2012 is suppose to be the year of doom and gloom.
Today I will sit down to sort my thoughts into action plans for next year and try to be smart about it.
Would love to know what every ones dreams and thoughts for 2012.

The beloved noise of my niece Menna and Nephew Adam is filling the place with joy and headache :).
But I am not really there I just received my DHL package from Amazon Japan. My fave beading magazine Beads Friend and Naomi Yogo's new book.
So later today I will post a review of the book and work more on my blog its not an easy job blogging but its fun and I am getting addicted.

First Blog

This is my first blog ever and I am happy I finally got to it. I am usually active on community chit chats but just never got around to doing it.
My topic today is about "To Be or Not to Be". Many of us had dreams when we were young about what we wanted to be and how we will run the world. However as years go by most of us have not realised their dreams and only few of us have. Most of us try to find answers in the form of When,How, What. But I believe the key to a good story is not in the how, what or when but in the "WHY" as it will lead to the rest.

I believe the answer to this question is that they remained "Kids". All those successful people we see in our modern world have a big kid in the heart and that kid is fearless.
I have always wanted to articulate my observation and I use my self as an example I speak 5 different languages two of them I learnet in my late 20's and I found that I have the ability to pick similarities between languages and actually understand a script of a language that I have not learnt in my whole life.

A Friend of mine challenged me on it when I was in KL recently and I managed to translate 70 percent of an ad written in Malay. Why because I actually don't have the mind blocks or the fear of making a mistake but I have an eagerness to understand what is in front of me. Now if it was written in Japanese there is no way I could do it, however most my favourite Beading magazines and books are in fact written in Japanese.
The first beading book I read or rather looked at was Japanese and it was my open door to the world of Beading and Swarovski that was Sept 1996 and I was in Taiwan at the time.

Couple of days back I found an interesting clip on you tube and I am going to share it for all of you to see what I mean. Just do me a favour after you finish watching it tell me if it has inspired you and in what way
thanks.
